Coconut Oil

So a couple months ago I decided I was going to eat healthier, thanks to my best friend Danielle Sereda.
She came over to my house and was talking to me about ways I could eat healthier. Danielle told me that I needed to try replacing butter or oil with Coconut Oil. I at first was like...  NO WAY! It sounded so gross. I decided to go over to her house so she could make me some chicken using coconut oil so I could try it. It was amazing! I loved the taste so I ran over to Costco and picked up some organic coconut oil (link above). I think my big tub cost about $13.00, so it wasn't very expensive! Since I started using it I have used it in my hair, on my face, for cooking, and moisturizer! It is truly amazing! My big tub should last me a long time, it has a shelf life for 2 years which is awesome!

This is my best friend, Danielle, at my wedding!

She is one of the best people I know, and I know a lot of people :) She also is probably the healthiest person I know, besides her sisters and mother! She is my tree huger, my best friend, my child's god mother, and I go to her for everything. Thank you, Danielle for making my life a little bit healthier and introducing me to Coconut Oil.

Motivational Monday- Make it Happen

I saw this cute printable on Pinterest and I loved it.
Today I plan on setting a goal and I am going to make that goal by setting realistic steps to reach it.
If you put your mind to it you can do it. You can do anything you want. For example, I have always loved doing makeups and have done a few weddings for fun but wanted to take it more seriously. Two months ago I decided I wanted to become a makeup artist. I am now almost graduating the first course for my school and I am being booked for weddings, stagette parties and photo shoots. I had to have the courage to put aside what everyone else would think of me and do something that I wanted to do for myself. I could not be happier!

Here are a few pictures of some recent makeup applications I have done.

My grandmother is a babe.

On this awesome model I did a highlight and contour along with a fun 3 tier eye.

There will be many more pictures coming soon! Thanks for all the support.

Now go out and do something you are scared of.

I plan on doing things like Fab Friday, Motivational Monday, Tricks Tuesday, lots of giveaways and some fun things like that. I want to say thank you for stopping by, please leave a comment on the page. If you want me to do a specific post for a certain makeup look or anything like that, you are more than welcome to email me. I look forward to posting soon! Thanks again!
